This theme is called Human/Environment Interaction. This theme is paticularly important because it deals with most of the people on earth. Geographers strive to understand the relationship between people and places on Earth. People are attracted to places for various reasons (i.e, oceans, lakes, rivers, parks, etc.) Geographers are also concerned about the environment, such as waste, and water pollution.
